Centr Fitness Equipment: Product Lines, Specs, Warranty, and Rivals

Centr fitness equipment covers cable-based home gyms, cardio machines, benches, weights, and Centr x HYROX competition gear, tied to a separate coaching app. Its best-known products are functional trainers, with the Centr 2 at about $2,200 and the Smith-equipped Centr 3 at about $3,300. Judge them on footprint, stack ratio, and warranty, and take care with that last one, because Centr’s own help center gives conflicting terms. For the cardio side, see our cardio machines guide, and for cable gyms, our multi-gym guide.

What Centr sells

Centr’s store carries Inspire Fitness and Inspire Series machines alongside Centr-named ones, and its help center lists models like FT1 and M3 as Centr equipment. If you see both names, that’s why.

The Centr 1 still shows up in search, but its page on Centr’s store returned a 404 when we checked, so it’s left out.

Functional trainers and multi gyms

The Centr 2 pairs two 165 lb stacks with 30 pulley positions, a pull-up bar, and a phone dock. The Centr 3 adds a selectorized Smith bar rated up to 360 lb, which it says doubles the stack’s resistance. It’s shallower, at 46 inches against 62, but wider and heavier.

Look past “330 lb total.” Centr describes a 2:1 ratio on the Centr 2, and its FT1 page spells out what that means: 82.5 lb per pulley. That suits many cable moves but can feel light for heavy rows or pulldowns, in our judgment.

Centr recommends 24 to 36 inches of clearance above the pull-up bar, which on the 81.5-inch Centr 2 means a ceiling of about 8.8 to 9.8 feet to use the bar fully. The Body Weight Home Gym skips plates and uses 15 levels, from 10 to 150% of your body weight, in a 43 x 55 inch footprint up to 89 inches tall.

Cardio

The Runr is a folding treadmill with a 20 x 55 inch surface, 10 mph top speed, and 12% incline. The Perform Series Air Bike is belt-driven and big for the type at 62.1 x 30.2 inches, and the Perform Series Rower is an air rower with 10 levels.

Warranty: the part to pin down

Centr’s help center doesn’t agree with itself. A coverage article updated about two weeks before our check says limited lifetime on parts for residential use. A duration article updated nine months ago says 1 year from purchase. We couldn’t read a term for the Centr 2 or Centr 3 in their page text.

Points that are consistent:

  • Free parts window. Parts within 2 years of purchase are described as free, though it’s unclear who pays shipping in year two.
  • Exclusions. Cables wearing out over their expected life, pad compression, misuse, modifications, and outdoor use aren’t covered.
  • Claims. Report missing parts within 30 days and shipping damage within 7. You install replacement parts yourself.
  • Commercial use. Terms vary by product and purchase channel.

Registration is optional. You order parts through support, and they aren’t always interchangeable: FT1 cables don’t fit FT2 machines, for instance.

The app relationship

Centr Coach is a separate subscription with monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, all with the same content, and all renewing automatically. The annual plan lists at about $160. The Perform machines include 30 days, and equipment codes can give 3 or 12 months. We found nothing saying a machine requires the app, so cancel any trial you don’t want.

Who sells it

Centr’s help center says equipment from centr.com, Costco, Walmart, or an authorized US dealer gets its standard warranty. Equipment bought abroad may have different coverage through the local distributor, and replacement parts ship only to US addresses, including APO and FPO.

How Centr compares

For a dual-stack trainer near the Centr 2, compare the REP Fitness Arcadia at about $2,200 and the Bells of Steel stack trainer at about $1,900. Force USA’s G4, at about $2,500, is an all-in-one rig with long stated home terms. Warranties differ more than prices, and Centr’s are the ones you’ll need to confirm.

On cardio, the Perform air bike sits between Schwinn’s AD7 and the AssaultBike Elite on price, and it’s larger than both. The Perform rower lists about the same as a Concept2 RowErg, with a longer stated warranty. The Runr’s 55-inch deck is shorter than the 60 inches on the SOLE F63, which matters if you have a long stride.

Safety

  • Respect the user limits. The Centr 2, Centr 3, and Runr list 300 lb.
  • Inspect cables. Replace any frayed cable before using the machine, in our judgment.
  • Check for recalls. A CPSC title search for “Inspire Fitness” on Nov 5, 2026 returned nothing, and a search for “Centr” returned only unrelated brands. Repeat it for used gear.
  • Stop for pain or dizziness. Talk to a physician first if you have a chronic condition.
